Manuel Vidal Fernández was born in Havana, Cuba, on June 24, 1929. He developed various artistic manifestations including painting, drawing, printmaking and graphic design. The artist studied various studies in Cuba and abroad. In the field of the second we can mention the Grant granted in 1959 by the General Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education of Cuba to study Painting in France, and the Scholarship to study painting and engraving in the Real Artistic Circle of Barcelona, Spain, 1960 to 1961.
