TV deregulation

Television deregulation was a process of Spanish deregulation that consisted in the possibility of existence of televisions of private ownership, based on the concept of freedom of enterprise and freedom of information. The liberal-mercantilist conception allows any person to direct a television chain without going beyond the limits established in each country by the law. This process allows the coexistence between public and private television. In Spain, deregulation began in the late 1980s.
