Jan Krol (Drouwen, 1962) is a Dutch actor.
Krol became known by his role as the young Bartje in the same-name series broadcast by the NCRV since December 1972. He played in the first five of the seven episodes.
After the havo, Krol followed the hbo-training youth welfare work in Leeuwarden. After his education he went to work in a center for epilepsy control and then left for study to Germany. Krol became a teacher in Weimar, where he set up a circus with the students. He returned to the Netherlands to follow a clown training in Amsterdam. Krol became involved with the Stichting Anders Beleven (now: Het Beter Gezelschap), which stimulates staff in the care sector 'Sensitively' and at the 2001 International Theater Company Sign Dance Collective. Krol is active as a freelance actor and clown.
