Jenocles was a tragic author and actor of Ancient Greece who lived in the fifth century BC. C. He was the son of Cárcino el Viejo and acted as a co-leader with his brothers in the works of his father, and was, according to Suda, the father of another Cárcino. He was attributed an excess of scenery in his works. It was satirized by Aristophanes, Plato the Comedian, for his part, qualified him as skillful in the twelve arts (δωδεκαμήχᾰνος).

Of his works only some titles are conserved. In the 91st Olympiad (year 415 BC) he beat Euripides in a contest. The tragedies presented by Jenocles were: Oedipus, Lycaon, Bacchantes and the satirical drama Atamante, against Alexander, Palamedes, The Trojans and Sisyphus as a satirical drama, which were those presented by Euripides.One of his works was Licimnio, one of whose fragments is alluded to by Aristophanes in The Clouds.
