The TI-57 was a programmable calculator made by Texas Instruments between 1977 and 1982. There were three machines with this name, the first was the TI-57 with an LED display launched in September 1977 along with the most powerful TI-57. 58 and the TI-59. It had 50 programming steps and 8 memory registers. Two later versions, called TI-57 LCD and TI-57 LCD-II, had an LCD screen, but were less powerful (ran more slowly) and had much less memory: 48 bytes between program 'steps' and storage logs .
