Keizerin Xiao Gong Ren
Xiao Gong Ren (1660 - 25 June 1723) was a concubine of Emperor Kangxi and mother of Emperor Yongzheng.
Empress Xiao Gong Ren called lady Wuya came from the Mantsjo Wuya tribe and was Weiwu's daughter. She was born in the seventeenth government year of Emperor Shunzhi who ruled China from 1643 to 1661.
Dame Wuya betrayed the Forbidden City in Beijing to become the wife of Emperor Kangxi. Emperor Kangxi was the third Qing Emperor and ruled China from 1661 to 1722. In 1680, a lady Wuya was given the title of Imperial Concubine De. In 1682 she was promoted to a midwife of the third grade "gemalin". In 1722 Kangxi died and became her eldest son Yinzhen Emperor. As a mother of the new emperor, she received the title of Empress Widow Ren Shou. She died not later than six months later in her apartment in the Forbidden City. After her death, she received the honored title Empress Xiao Gong Ren and was buried in the Jingling Mausoleum in Hebei. Children
