Las Tres Bailías or Las Bailías is the name given to the First Carlist War by the area under the Order of the Hospital in the Sierra de Teruel that borders on Castellón on the upper Guadalope River. The Hospitalers had three bailies:

For example, in the Acts of the Cortes de Zaragoza of 1398-1400 the section XCIII de greuges de la yglesia is dedicated to Las Baylias de Cantaviella, Castellot and Aliaga:

humilment supplicating shows as well as notorially and against the jurors jury and men of the places of the Baylias of Cantaviella, Castellot and Aliaga, the Order of the Spital of Sant Johan

In the Carlist wars this area and the border area of Castellón were famous for being an irreducible Carlist enclave commanded by Cabrera. Cabrera had the nickname Tigre del Maestrazgo, which motivated the media to call the entire Carlist Maestrazgo nucleus instead of the traditional name of Bailías for the Teruel part.

In the regionalization project of Aragon, a large part of the old Bailías were attributed to the Maestrazgo region, but Aliaga was incorporated into the region of the Mining Basins.
