The Plaza de la Candelaria is a public road that is located in the historic city of Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain.

It is constituted as a wide space with an almost rectangular shape, presided over by a monument to Emilio Castelar, 1906 by Eduardo Barrón. It is an extension of a small square that was once before the convent of La Candelaria (building of 1567 and rebuilt in 1680). When it was demolished, the plaza was enlarged in 1873.

On its plot there was a circus and a theater to later be landscaped in 1884.
