Nobles Hijosidalgos del Solar

Nobles Hijosidalgos del Solar was the noble title granted by the King of Spain Philip III in 1613 to each of the inhabitants of the Vallegrande village.

This locality was in the Viceroyalty of Peru, now part of Bolivia, benefiting approximately 200 families of Spanish origin, with which it raised its social rank and gave them such prebend, as a stimulus to the fidelity with which they were maintained and this white town founded by Captain Pedro Lucio Escalante de Mendoza was to remain.

This was to serve as a link between Charcas and Santa Cruz in the colonial era.
