Booch Methodology

Class Diagram.

The Booch Methodology is a technique used in software engineering. It is an object modeling language and a methodology widely used in the design of object oriented software. It was developed by Grady Booch while working for Rational Software (now part of IBM).

The remarkable aspects of Booch's methodology have been superseded by the Unified Modeling Language, which combines graphic elements of Booch's methodology with elements of the object modeling technique and object-oriented software engineering p>

The methodological aspects of the Booch methodology were incorporated into several methodologies and processes, the main one being the Unified Rational Process (RUP).
