The Rally of San Remo 1988, officially 30º Rallye Sanremo - Rallye d'Italia, was the 30th edition of the Rally of San Remo and the twelfth round of the World Championship Rally in 1988. It was the 185th rally in the World Championship Rally which is organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The start and finish took place in San Remo.
Miki Biasion won his dominant performance throughout the season with a victory for his own audience, which also made his first world title a reality. Markku Alén lost too much time in the opening phase to make it difficult for his teammate and would not go beyond place four. The stage became a complete Italian affair, with the Jolly Club Lancia Delta's by Alex Fiorio and Dario Cerrato ending second and third respectively.

The bronze statues were recorded in 480 BC during the Second Persian War. robbed by the robbers of King Xerxes, and in 477 BC. replaced by a second group made by the sculptors Critius and Nesiotes.
