Honorary title awarded by the Post Office of Spain to those who have distinguished themselves by their promotion of mail, in their activities. The title allows to use the uniform of the post body (without salary) and send letters without postage, with a postmark of its own, which certifies the status of honorary postman.

In the history of Spain, this title has been granted to six people, the first being Mariano Pardo de Figueroa, Doctor Thebussem on March 20, 1880. The other five are: Rafael Álvarez Sereix, in 1893; Camilo José Cela, in 1982; Ramón Carande, in 1985; Antonio Mingote in 1998 and Sofia in Greece in 2013.
