Law mosaic

The Mosaic Law refers to all the precepts given by Moses to the Jewish people, recorded in the Torah (the five books of Moses or Pentateuch).

This expression is found in the Old Testament, and in certain passages of the New Testament, such as the Presentation in the Temple, or the Acts of the Apostles. The question of respect for the Mosaic law was the subject of controversy during the Council of Jerusalem (around 50).
