Salagua (Colima)

Salahua is a delegation from Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. In 1522: Captain Gonzalo de Sandoval, arrives at the old port of Salahua or Treasure Beach, where he travels and explores the coasts called, South Sea. Salagua or Tzalahua is a population of the Municipality of Manzanillo, this is in the center of the bay of manzanillo, the localities that surround it are Santiago and the valley of the Garzas. In this place fishing competitions are realized of the sailfish that represent the municipality of Manzanillo, at the moment it is considered the world capital of the sailfish.

It is the southern bay of the two that make up the great bay of Manzanillo, its beaches, from south to north are named Playa Las Brisas, Playa Azul and Playa Salahua.
