Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau is a rolling stock manufacturer, located in the German city of Dessau. In the Netherlands, Connexxion's Protos train stations build on the Valleilijn.
Since May 2006, Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau belonged to the Russian conglomerate ZAO Transmashholding. Following the bankruptcy in March 2008, the company could make a restart. Since December 2008, Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau is owned by the Romanian Compania de Feroviar Bucuresti S.A. (CTF). With this acquisition, production of Protos train stations has not been taken, so Connexxion will be the only buyer in the Netherlands in the Netherlands. Externe link
