Benito Remigio Noydens

Benedict Remigio Noydens (Antwerp, 1630-1685) was a religious, lexicographer and Spanish writer.

His biography is almost entirely unknown, and he was a member of the Order of Minor Regular Clerics (if the cover of his edition of the Treasury is believed). It is fundamentally remembered for having published the Treasure of the Spanish or Spanish language in 1674 and added many new voices.

He also wrote other works, among which he emphasized as a bibliographical curiosity: Moral history of the god Momo: teaching of princes and subjects, and exile of novels and books of chivalry (Madrid, 1666). Bibliography
