Black Blanc Beur, or B3, is a company of dancers officially founded in 1984 on a parking lot of Trappes, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines by a doctor, Jean Djemad and a choreographer, Christine Coudun.

Without a doubt the oldest professional hip-hop dance troupe in France, B3 has so far put together some twenty choreographic pieces, given nearly 1,500 performances in France and abroad, and led many workshops. From the beginning, B3 seeks to create an original break dance, which is not afraid to rub the contemporary dance and its public.

By its only name "black-white-butter", the group also affirms a desire for social and cultural diversity.

Olav Sibi, choreographer from Black Blanc Beur, was Shy'm's dance teacher. edit code
