Oelachan-Sis

Oelachan-Sis (Russian: Улахан-Сис) is the name for two mountain ranges in the northeastern part of the Russian Autonomous Republic of Jakarta:

One of them (69 ° 30 'N, 149 ° 42' OL) represents an extension of the Polooesny mountain range at the eastern side of the Indigirka. The mountain range has a height of up to 757 meters. This mountain range lies on the interfluvium between the Erna and Sjandrin rivers in the northwest and the Chatystach and Arga-Yerjach rivers in the southeast and extends over a length of approximately 160 kilometers between Indigirka to the west and the sources of the river Sunflower in the east. It consists of a formation of granite, devonian sandstone and flowering rock. In the valleys, larch forests grow in some places. To the north is the Kondakov plateau.

The other mountain range is southwestern (70 ° 29 'N, 134 ° 27' OL), in the north of the Koelar mountain system, on the interfluvium between the Jana and a number of right-wing tributaries of the Omoloj (including Oelachan-Kjoeegjoeljoer ). This mountain range is about 100 kilometers long and up to 501 meters high. To the north of the mountain, former miners are located Koelar, Vlasovo and Entoeziastov (all lifted in 1998).
