Flip from Kam

Cornelis Abraham (Flip) de Kam (Sassenheim, 30 October 1946) is honorary professor of Economics of the Public Sector at the University of Groningen and former deputy member of the PvdA. He has written many columns for, among other things, NRC Handelsblad and many books published on the public sector, often with French Nypels.

The Kam was short-term member of the Lower House in 1977. He became a member of the board as a successor to Max van der Stoel, who was given his seat three months after the election to remain minister. Following the formation of the Cabinet Van Agt I in early 1978, the PvdA resigned and De Kam resumed his seat to allow Van der Stoel to return. Publications (selection)
