Francisco Millau Marabal


Francisco Millau Marabal (San Fernando, Cádiz, 1728 - f. 1805), Spanish squadron and geographer.

The Marquis de la Ensenada included him in the Boundary Commission with Portugal and later commissioned also in Spanish America. Cartografió the geographical regions that form the present republics of Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay, experience that accumulated partly in his work Description of the Province of the River of the Silver.

Reintegrated to the Peninsula, he ascended brigadier in 1789 and chief squadron in 1795, dying in 1805, months before the Battle of Trafalgar.
