National Commission for the Development of the Indigenous Peoples

The National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (Spanish: Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indígenas, CDI) is a Mexican government organization that deals with the indigenous peoples of that country.

The CDI was founded in 2003 as a replacement of the National Institute of Indigenous Sciences (INI). Its official mission is to "lead, coordinate, support, promote, monitor and evaluate programs, projects, strategies and public measures to acquire integral and sustainable development and full enjoyment of the rights of indigenous peoples and communities in accordance with Article 2 of the United Mexican Political Constitution.
