Yuni Shara


Yuni Shar is an Indonesian singer, she is the older sister of the singer Krisdayanti. His first debut was at a music festival called Bintang Festival, Radio and Television in 1987, when he was 15 years old, which won 2nd place. In 1989, he participated in the same festival and he managed to win it and then offered him a recording contract by Billboard magazine.

He released his first album in 1990 entitled Jatuh Cinta Lagi which means falling in love again. In 1991 he released another album titled Hilang Permataku, in 1992 he released Salah Tingkah. His career culminated with the publication of the minutes Mengapa Tiada Maaf in 1995, the album sold 1.5 million copies and BASF granted him, with 4 Platimun Records. He received 3 Platinum records in the Proceedings of the Indonesian version of a soundtrack of a martial arts television series as in Return of the Condor of Heroes. His choice of songs are melancholic, most popular and ancient musical themes, an example is the Keroncong style. However his career stopped at a standstill due to an increase in the new pop groups, rather than a wake-up call from the young audience.
