Integration, for example, is defined in the Flemish citizenship decree as an interactive process whereby the government offers foreigners a specific program, which offers them the opportunity to deal with their new social environment and, on the other hand, contributes to society's to recognize people of the target group as full-fledged citizens, with the purpose of full participation of those in society.
