The Montreal Locomotive Woks (MLW) was a Canadian manufacturer of diesel locomotives and steam locomotives. The MLW administrative offices and manufacturing facilities were located in Montreal, Quebec in Canada. It existed under various names from 1883-1985. MLW was a subsidiary of American Locomotive Company. From 1964 until 1975, the company was renamed MLW-Worthington until it was acquired by Bombardier in 1975 until its closure in 1985.
