The 2012-2013 season of the Slovenian Football Championship is the 22nd edition of the Slovenian Premier League, PrvaLiga. The top 10 Slovenian clubs play against each other 4 times during the season, 2 times at home and 2 away. At the end of the season, the penultimate player plays a promotion-relegation block and the last one is directly relegated to D2.

The defending champion, NK Maribor, wins the competition again this season after finishing at the top of the standings with eight points clear of NK Olimpija Ljubljana and eighteen on NK Domžale . This is the eleventh Slovenian league title in the club's history, which even scored twice in the Slovenian Cup final against Publikum Celje.

The winner of the championship will participate in the 2013-2014 Champions League, while the two teams completing the podium will play the 2012-2013 Europa League together with the winner of the national cup.

However, neither club was able to obtain a license from the Slovenian federation to participate in the championship next season. It is thus the 3 of D2, the NK Krka which is directly promoted, without disputing a dam. Summary of the seasonedit the code code change the code
