The Sánchez del Corral brothers were three Spanish conquerors who participated in the conquests of Cuba, Mexico, and Honduras. Natural of the town segoviana of Cuéllar, they were children of Francisco de Cuéllar, natural of this town and brother of Cristóbal de Cuéllar (father-in-law of Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar), and Catalina of Corral, native of Portillo (Valladolid). >

Alonso, the first of the brothers was in Cuba in 1517, participating in the conquest and pacification of the island under the orders of his countryman Diego Velázquez de Cuellar, advance and first governor of the same. He later accompanied Juan de Grijalva in the discovery of New Spain, and finally settled in the town of Sancti Spíritus (1528-1544) and in Mexico City, where he was a neighbor in 1547.

The other two brothers were Gaspar, who was due to arrive in Cuba along with his brother Alonso. He accompanied Hernán Cortés in the conquest of Mexico, and later died in the peaks of Oaxtepec, in the present state of Morelos; and another man, of unknown name, who participated in the conquest of Honduras.
