Comics Pocket

Comics Pocket is a small comic collection published by the publisher Arédit / Artima from 1966 to 1984. Historyedit code

Created just after the acquisition of Artima by the Presses de la Cité, this collection first adapted novels of the Black River in comics, in magazines such as: Anticipation, Atomos, Calone, Camberra, Flash , Lecomte, Maniaks, OSS 117, Petitjean, Sidereal, TTX75, The Viscount.

Quickly, the publisher also turns to the adaptation in French of American comics: the Marvel Comics - that the Lug editions will make popular through the superheroes of Strange and his avatars - but also almost the whole DC Comics production, until then almost completely unpublished (with the notable exception of Superman and Batman whose rights are then held exclusively by Sagédition).

We then see a multitude of small black and white formats, such as Fictional Adventures, Bat Lash, Burning, Shock, Clamor, Conan, Demon, Dracula, Eclipso, Strange Adventures, Frankenstein, Hallucinations, It's Midnight, L 'Unexpected, The Unusual, Kamandi, Mystery House, Ghost Manor, Neurosis, Raid, Richard Dragon, Satan, Specter, Spectral or Avenger.
