Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick (born 19 February 1957 in Mauritius) is a British guitarist, composer and producer. He has been at the helm of the British jazz band Incognito since his formation in 1979. He has, with Incognito, directed fifteen studio, live, remix and compilation albums. Prior to forming Incognito, Bluey was the founding member of the Light of the World group. He has produced artists such as Paul Weller, George Benson, Maxi Priest, and Terry Callier, and has also collaborated with Stevie Wonder. PrivacyPodify the code

He is the son of the Mauritian poet Édouard Maunick and Armande Mallet. He was born in Mauritius and moved to the UK when he was only nine years old.
