When introduced, Nikki is new to the city. She meets David Silver and begins to admire him for the music he makes. She eventually falls in love with him and he kisses her. Then he rejected her through his relationship with Donna Martin. Later she appears again as a newcomer at the school.
Donna is her supervisor on the first day of school and they become a good friend. David has never told Donna about Nikki and is afraid that the truth will come over water. If Nikki Donna accidentally tells the truth, Donna is angry at him. Nikki puts her sentences on Brandon Walsh, but he can hardly stand her out.
