Partinium is an alloy invented by G. H. Partin. Its composition (variable depending on the source) is 88.5% aluminum, 7.4% copper, 1.7% zinc, 1.1% silicon and 1.3% iron. The light version contains tungsten and magnesium.

This alloy is light and strong, it was used the first time in France for the wheels and elements of automobile, in particular on La Jamais contente, holder of the first speed record superior to 100 km / h. edit code
