Denise Gaudet co-founded in 1974, with Charles E. Caouette, the first public alternative school in Quebec: the Jonathan Alternative School. She was also the first director. She is the daughter of Victor Gaudet, an employee of the City of Montreal and Maria Beauregard Roads.
