Gerd Winner: Jakobsleiter (2000)
The Skulpturenweg Salzgitter-Bad is an image route in the Salzgitter-Bad district of Salzgitter in the German state of Lower Saxony. The image path, with nine statues of steel (2009), is part of the European Straße des Friedens to an idea of the sculptor Otto Freundlich. The Skulpturenweg is the most northern and eastern image of the Straße des Friedens, which has to go from Paris to Moscow, one of the oldest European trade routes. A large part of that route also coincided with a major pilgrimage route.
