Anguilla United Movement (United) is an Angolan political party founded in 1979 by Hubert Hughes. He was soon joined by the United Anglican Party founded in Ronald Webster after his forced resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Anguilla in 1977. He won six out of seven seats in the 1980 election, and Ronald Webster became Chief Minister of Anguilla. However, the personality of Ronald Webster makes it difficult to cohabit, and the latter is excluded from the party in 1981 and Hubert Hughes becomes the only leader. In 2010, the AUM won the elections with four seats out of seven and Hubert Hughes became Chief Minister of Anguilla.
