Janneke van der Veer


Janneke van der Veer (Tolbert, 1953) is a Dutch writer. She is an expert in books and studied cultural science at the Open University. This study ended in 2005 with a doctoral thesis on the childhood poetry of Han G. Hoekstra (1906-1988). She has been editor-in-chief of Boekenpost, a bi-monthly magazine for book lovers, and is a board member of the Stichting 't Oude Kinderboek in Zutphen, where about 16,000 titles are managed. She also publishes in Tradition and the Lexicon of Youth Literature and also provides texts of brochures for institutions and companies. Van de Veer received the Hieronymus of Alphen Prize in 2006 from the Stichting Geschiedenis Kinder- en Jeugdliteratuur.

Janneke van de Veer is married to the owner of Persian Press, Peter Duijff (1953). Bibliography
