Tte. Colonel Julio C. Arroyo was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution. It was born in the port of Veracruz, at the end of century XIX. He joined the constitutionalist struggle in the ranks of the East Division, commanded by General Candido Aguilar. He reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. From 1915 he was commander of Perote; there he fought against the counterrevolutionary forces of Higinio Aguilar and Felix Diaz. He carried out various commissions, such as the organization of the Eastern Division contingents in the Campaign against Francisco Villa in El Bajío. Bibliography
