Richard Fitz Roy (BC 1216-1246) or Warenne, Baron of Chilham, Kent, is the illegitimate son of King John of England. His mother is a cousin of Jean, named Adèle, a daughter of Hamelin de Warenne and Isabelle de Warenne, countess of Surrey. He served in his father's army as captain during the Baron revolt. In 1216 he was made constable of Wallingford Castle.
