La Arribada is an annual literary meeting held in Gijón since 2006, promoted by the writer and cultural manager Humberto Gonzali, and founded by the Cultural Association La Arribada, which currently has the board of directors formed by: Alberto Álvarez Peña (president), Mayte González Cobos (secretary), David M. Rivas (treasury), Aurora García Rivas, Carlos Espina and Roberto González (vocals). For the preparation of the event, consisting of three stages, "Vagamar", "Rolda" and "Per Asturies", in each edition a Technical Secretariat is formed by the Board of Directors of the Cultural Association La Arribada and by a variable number of responsible of areas that do not necessarily have to be members of the association.
