Poèmes Èrotiques is a composition by American composer Howard Hanson
The composer himself indicated that this is partly a programmatic work; It would have a psychological background, but that is not to be heard of the composition itself. They are actually miniatures for piano. The composer states on his manuscript that there are four parts; The script itself contains only three. It was composed when Hanson stayed at the College of the Pacific, where the premiere took place.
