Remote launch (missile)

Remote-launch weapons are weapons or missiles that can be launched at a sufficient distance from the target to allow the launch vehicle to evade defensive fire from the area where the target is located, normally these weapons are used with targets land or sea during an offensive operation. The name derives from two characteristics: first is the ability to attack the target while one is out of reach of the defender's weapons; second, its main objective is to destroy the defensive capabilities of the defender and reduce their effective reach. Often, a remote-launch missile is a cruise missile, a glider bomb or a short-range ballistic missile. Types of missiles
