Sierra Madre (Philippines)

The Sierra Madre.

The Sierra Madre is a mountain range in the Philippines. It is the longest in the country (about 340 km) and runs parallel to the eastern coast of the north of the island of Luzon. It begins in the province of Cagayan, to the north, passes through those of Nueva Vizcaya and Isabela and ends in Quezon, to the south. Between this mountain range and the Central Cordillera is the river Cagayan. Some of its peaks, such as Mount Mirador, have a spectacular landscape. Quezon National Park is located in this chain. Its highest point is Mount Anacuao (1850 m).
