ESTA is an acronym for (The Entertainment Services & Technology Association) is a non-profit trade association that represents the entertainment technology industry and is dedicated to promoting professionalism and growth within it. It also provides a forum where stakeholders can exchange ideas and information, create standards and recommend practices, and address problems in terms of training and certification.

ESTA members provide a wide variety of products and services to the industry, ranging from large corporations to individual designers. Its members include distributors, manufacturers, service and production companies, designers and consultants.

ESTA is currently responsible for the revision of the DMX (Digital MultipleX) protocol as well as the development of the new ACN (Advanced Control Network) protocol, both communications protocols used to control the lighting of special effects and scenarios < / p>
