Galbani


Ferula galbanifera

The galbanum or galbanum is a gomoresin that flows by incision from the root of a plant of the same name, which in Latin is called Ferula gummosa.

Grows in Arabia, Syria and in some parts of India. It takes a fairly straight stem in whose extremity some panicles appear, which enclose their seed similar in shape and size, almost to the lentils. Its leaves are broad and bent.
