Isaac Kleiner

Doctor Isaac Kleiner is a fictional character in the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 videogames. It is doubled in the English version by Harry S. Robins.

He is one of the few survivors of the incident that occurred in Black Mesa, and of being the author of several functions on teleportation and interdimensional travel, is a key figure in the scientific community of the Resistance against the empire of La Alliance. Dr. Eli Vance affectionately calls him "Izzy" several times. Kleyner managed to escape Black Mesa along with Dr. Vance, Dr. Rosenberg and Barney Calhoun in a car with the Black Mesa logo. While Gordon worked at MIT, Kleiner was his mentor and was able to test his skills in advanced physics.

It has the habit of caring for something "rare" pets because it has a female headcrab called Lamarr. Barney calls him "head assailant" anyway. It also seems to lead to some extremes as Dr. Vance has been seen to object to Gordon artificially containing the Citadel nucleus, for Kleiner's idea. Despite this, his ideas are often carried out thanks to Gordon.

Some sources also erroneously refer to the character as Dr. Alex Kleiner, based on an obvious inaccuracy in the official guide to Half-Life. Fun facts

An unknown scientist with glasses. Dr. Eli Vance (With Military Cut). A scientist with round glasses and short stature. Half-Life Scientist "Einstein" 1. A character whose face was deleted (Possibly and due to his discussions is Magnusson, or even Wallace Breen although both are of shorter stature than can be seen in the photo since is even higher than G-Man and others). Another Unknown Scientist with Mustache (Possibly some of the strangers passed to Aperture Science. This would have its logic since somebody had to help the great change of company of curtains to technology of portals ..). Dr. Issac Kleiner. Gordon Freeman. Possibly G-Man or another character who worked in Black Mesa.
