The euphone is a 16 or 8 foot organ game with free reeds and conical resonator. His name derives from the homonymous invention of Ernst Chladni.

The euphone is a musical instrument, invented in 1790 by Chladni: it consists of a square box containing 42 small cylinders of glass which one rubs with the wet fingers, and whose vibration is communicated with metallic rods located inside (glassharmonica type).
