The Matadi route is a road linking Kinshasa with the city of Matadi in the Bas-Congo in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It leaves of Kintambo, and in its urban route takes the name of "Avenue Makanda Kabobi", it leaves the valley of the Congo by Mount Ngaliema (in the municipality of Ngaliema). Once it leaves the urban district of Kinshasa, it is directed towards the west through the Bas-Congo following roughly the itinerary of the railway Matadi-Kinshasa.
