The author of Ernest Van de Velde, the author of the famous Méthode Rose, is a method for piano learning published in 1926 by Éditions Van de Velde, then reissued in 1963 in a revised version developed by Pierre Maillard-Verger. This is a graduate course in piano technique. There are illustrations showing the positions of the hand for thumb and wrist movements. 700,000 copies would have been sold. Notes and edit the code
