Ontgroening (defense)

In most armed forces, degenerations take place. The new soldiers are degenerated by the older guard, which can range from relatively innocent pests to extreme humiliation and physical abuse. The officers sometimes prohibit, but usually find that "they can not be anywhere" or "belong". Even if the deforestation is forbidden, it is not a pleasure for the newcomers to complain - this is considered by the elderly to be very shameful and leads to much more bullying.

The Russian army is known for the unfoldings. Twice a year, servicemen are called for their two-year service, leading to the formation of four "generations". The "grandparents", officers engaged in their last six months, turn off the service. They are the engine behind the unfoldings, which go quite hard. "Playing a crocodile" (someone forced to hang slightly under his bed without touching the ground), playing a parrot (to force someone to balance a parrot on a stick on the front of the bed) The grandfather's drink is buying the most innocent bullying. Heavy maltreatment and forced compulsive hours belong to the "heavier treatments". Many recruits die of abuse or commit suicide.
