Savka Dabčević-Kučar (Korčula, December 11, 1923 - Zagreb, August 6, 2009) was een Kroatisch politika.

In 1943 she became a member of the Yugoslavian partizan movement. After studying the Second World War, she studied economics at the University of Zagreb and then studied in Leningrad. From 1967 until 1971 she served as chairman of the Central Committee of the Communists of Croatia and the Prime Minister of Croatia. Savka Dabčević-Kučar also became one of the most important figures of Croatian Spring and was deployed in 1971 as chairman of the Central Committee, because of its support for Croatia's greater autonomy in Yugoslavia and a liberal regime.

Together with Miko Tripalo, she founded the Croatian People's Party in 1990, chaired by her from 1990 to 1994. From 1992 to 1995 she was also a member of the Croatian parliament. Literature
