Steve Barcia, or Stephen Barcia, was born in 1957. He has a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana.

With Ken Burd, he founded Simtex Software in 1988, in Austin, which will publish famous games like Master of Magic, Master of Orion I and Master of Orion II. He left in 1997 and held other positions as President of Retro Studios from 2002 to April 2003. Linkschange the code
