Vsévolod II de Kiev. Vsévolod II Ólgovich (in Russian, Всеволод II Ольгович) (died 1 August 1146), Prince (Kniaz) of Chernígov (1127-1139) and Grand Prince (Veliki Kniaz) of Kiev (1139-1146), son of Oleg Sviatoslávich, prince of Chernígov.

Vsévolod married Maria, the daughter of Grand Duke Mstislav I of Kiev. They had two sons and two daughters:

Despite having two children, the successor chosen by Vsévolod was his brother, Ígor, and his subjects promised to accept him as their heir. According to one version, Vsévolod even forced the Kievites to kiss the Cross and swear allegiance to Igor, which was taken with resentment. Shortly before his death, Vsévolod became a monk under the name Gavril. Sources
